Rajan Rajasingham came to realize his acceptance by Jesus while a student in high-school, and grew in his faith during his time in the Colombo Medical School. He worked in public health in Sri Lanka for 15 years, including 10 years as an epidemiologist at the Ministry of Health. He then felt a call to leave the field of medicine and became the team leader for a Christian Child Protection Agency (working with children who had been sexually abused) for 7 years. Since 2008, he has worked with Healthcare Christian Fellowship International, first as Training Coordinator for South Asia, and then as Global Residential Training Promoter. He discovered Disciple-Making after being a 'believer' for 40 years, and has found a passion for this, and keeps talking about it with others. He has one wife, Sumathy, and two children, Shamanthi and Sanjayan, who are well into adulthood. He is constantly knocked over by the grace of God.
